I am not sure if you are feeling any of this but I sure am.  Sometimes I just want to disconnect from it all and slow down!  Recently I decided I would do just that.  It is about time, the Universe has been giving me signals for months and it took a serious accident to get me to finally listen.  I guess it was not so much a decision as a requirement.  In any event, here I am slowed down and what is coming out of this experience has been  unexpected and magical.

I am learning how to “Be” and in that being am discovering myself. Really seeing all of the ways that I have been, in essence running full throttle away from my self and my knowing.  I am not even sure why.  I guess I have been so use to running so that I would not have to face myself.  Perhaps out of fear that what myself would tell me would be so devastating that I would not survive.  Guess what?  It was ALL in my mind.  The truth is, there is nothing remotely horrible, bad, disgusting or even evil about me.  I am, like you, a beautiful, radiant, loving, joy filled being of the Source. 

What I am discovering is that there was something outside of me that was making me believe I was flawed and therefore not worthy of being Love.  Basically I was duped!  Well NO MORE!  I am finally ready to recognize the truth of me and in that recognition begins the healing.

I hope that you too, can find your truth, the truth that you are now and always have been worthy of being Loved.

As I allow myself to see each moment in my life as an opportunity rather than an obligation I am moving out of being the victim of circumstance and into the creator and explorer of my life!

As the creator I get to choose what each moment will be… a burden or an adventure, the choice has always been mine.  I admit, It has not always felt like my choice, in fact it has mostly felt like I was caught in some disastrous wild, raging wind with no chance at changing the direction.  But… what if we decided to jump off, stop the ride and just BE?  Most of us just do not know that we can stop it.

Now that we have stopped the forward thrusting, out-of-control momentum, we have a choice to either jump on again or change direction.  I choose to change direction but this time do it with focused intention.  Choosing the life I want instead of the one created out of past beliefs and imposed dogma.  What if I chose to see life from the place of Love, Peace, Joy, Fun, Passion, what if…?

Instead of looking at what is, choosing to move into what could be…  Imagine the possibility.  Creating  a life of wonder and magic.

I do not know what you will choose, you have free will.  I am going to choose in this moment a life of pure wonder… Will you join me?

In these times of tumultuous news with earthquakes, threats of nuclear contamination in Japan and threats of War in Libya, I recommend that you center yourself and place yourself in a space of LOVE. If this is elusive to you think of someone you have a deep connection with, (it may be a child, a spouse, a pet, maybe it is nature, trees, a great forest) whatever it is for you I ask you to focus on it NOW.  Take a deep breath and let the feelings of this connection fill you up, moving you out of fear and into a state of peace.  Imagine what the world would be like if each one of us were continually in a deep state of peace and love.

The more we engage in the mass fear, the more we contribute to it. Remove yourself from contributing to fear and be a force of peace and love by moving into and contributing to peace and love.   If this is a challenge for you, there are many guides and teachers that are present and able to teach you how to hold this state of peaceful awareness. I am happy to connect you with a teacher or guide if one does not show up into your awareness.

We are in a time in our world today that requires us to focus on what we want our world to be, not what we see with our physical eyes. There is a great calling upon us to move out of fear and into the active state of peace, becoming a peace agent in the world.

I am sending out the call for all PEACE AGENTS to stand up, be counted and hold steady. We can and will be a force for good and usher in the new energies of peach upon the earth.  Are you ready to hold with us?

There are many teachings that prepare you to be a Peace Agent,  one of them is Reiki. Moving out of fear and not allowing the current news to control how you feel is the first step to becoming a Peace Agent.  It then requires you to take action, get training if needed and then start to actively move into the world and Hold steady.

Today I learned a very powerful lesson;  The level of my ability to recieve is directly proportionate to my ability to give freely.

I use to be the most generous person, I was constantly giving little gifts to people I loved.  When I grandmother passed away I seemed to stop giving.  I remember someone telling me (at least what I heard) that I was giving to get…love, attention, power, you name it.  All of this happened around the same time and so I just stopped.  It was not a consious thought to stop, but I did.  I grew empty, sad, lost.

What I realized today is that giving brought me great JOY and Happiness.  What I stopped was my happiness, my joy.  I was not giving to get from the other person, I was giving to feel the internal Self-Love, the pure unadulterated joy of watching as someone took pleasure in the moment.  I was reveling in there delight because it brought me delight in my heart.  It reminded me of how much I am loved by ME!

As you allow yourself to receive the gift you give to yourself by your generosity, open up to and allow yourself to receive the joy. Tune into your feelings.  What is it you are feeling?  Revel in the joy of the gift to you, Self Love!

Well most of us forget that we once had big, humongous Dreams, giant almost inconceivable Dreams.  It is the moment that our dreams slip, our passion fades that we begin to die, that we begin to expire!  I remember when I was about 8 I wanted to grow up and marry an airline pilot and have twin daughters, blond of course.  It was a silly little dream because I have black hair and twins do not run in my family but I did not know any better and anything was possible in my world.  If someone had told me right then and there that my dream was impossible I may have never dreamed again.  This happens to most of us, someone tells us that we can’t possibly want or have our dreams, they are ridiculous, impossible, preposterous and before you know it we are dying again.

Are you seeing a themes here?  Without our Dreams, what is the point?  I for one have always had really big whopper dreams, dreams that reached the sky and beyond.  Most of my dreams have never come true but I believe with all of my being that it is possible because I just keep dreaming bigger and bigger dreams.  As I shift and change my dreams shift and change right along with me.  I spend a lot of time day-dreaming, imagining and pondering what it is I wish to create in my life and then set about visualizing what I want appearing in my life.

I for one refuse to give up dreaming and consequently I think I will never age!  I am forever young!  I am a DREAMER!  I intend to enjoy my life and live it up every chance I get… Want to join me?

Dreamers Unite!

I was thinking this morning about the “Lazy Days of Summer”  you know, those days where time slows down and we all get to relax, sit back and enjoy life…. STOP EVERYTHING….what happened to those days?  I really want to know.

I think what might have happen to those wonderful times, is that we forgot to relax, just sit back and watch as life ticked by.  When did we get so wrapped up in being busy, going here and there, getting this and that?  As I was pondering what happened to those wonderful times it occurred to me that maybe, just maybe I could bring them back into my life.

So, how do we unplug?  How do we stop the constant thrust forward and just breathe?  B-R-E-A-T-H-E!  I have decided to experiment with this and allow that warmth of the sun to seep into my pores and feel what it is like to stop and relax, enjoy and experience the moments as time just moves by.

I am not sure how I got to the point of the ever moving, doing, accomplishing, task oriented, do…do..doing of life….Argh!  How did we all get there?  I think we have forgotten how important it is to enjoy our lives, the wonderful moments  where nothing of any real significance is happening but that moment is the most important thing ever!  If we can just sit with ourselves and BE.  No TV, Radio, Computer, Car or Job….just that delicious moment…and the next …and the next moment.

I think maybe we have become addicted to the speed, the rush, the ever moving, changing excitement.  I’ll bet that if you allowed yourself the moment to experiencve how each feel, the rush and the peace, you would at first want the rush..it is familiar,  comfortably uncomfortable. But, if you can allow yourself the experience of the peaceful moment, allow yourself the time to let it seep into your very soul, you would not want to let it go.  there is a profound rest in those moments that I long to return to.

I invite you to give yourself the gift of the moment, allow yourself to experience the magic!

I am talking about those pesky little subconscious thoughts that creep in at the most inopportune times and sabotage us from moving forward head long into our lives and our success.

Recently I was preparing for a new class I am teaching, “Prosperity & Money”. It is about getting to the cause of what is in the way of peoples prosperity, their healthy relationship with money.  This is an area that so many people are struggling with and I decided that I was going to provide a course that would assist people to finally get to the truth and find out where their money/prosperity programs and beliefs started.  Since my job is to assist my clients in finding out the programs, beliefs and emotions that are getting in the way of their total health, wealth and happiness it did not seem like such a stretch to create this course.  I was going along just fine until I was awakened by that little voice  (the foreign saboteur) that kept saying, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?  What do you think you are doing? STOP! What will people think.  You are not qualified.  Maybe none of you have had this voice in your head before and maybe you have and can relate.

This is the very moment when most people are stopped from moving forward. The voice gets the best of them and they believe it to be the truth, and it is for the moment.  Once again it has won and we are put back in our place.  How many times has this happened to you?  Do you stop, give up settle for the familiar inertia?  This is where most people resign themselves to never getting ahead.  As you can see, I know this voice really well, as do you.

This is the critical moment, do I listen to the voice? Or, do I muster all of the courage I can and push forward?  No one would blame me if I sunk back into the wall and continued the status-quo.  After all everyone hears it and they all understand, Right?

Well…what should I do? I could kick myself in the butt and say don’t be an idiot, you have worked too hard and too long to build your reputation, you are respected, you have responsibility.  Oops, what just happened? The voice is using another tactic!  Just another way to sabotage me since the first tact did not seem to work.  Are you starting to get the idea that maybe, just maybe, your perceived lack of success was never yours to begin with?

The foreign saboteur is so subtle, so sneaky, so insidious and it tries every possible way to keep us from moving in the direction of our spirit! So what do we do now?

Let me tell you what I did and do every moment of every day. I stop, take a deep breath and remember right in this moment, and this moment and this moment, I am doing the very best I know how to do.  It may take me a few tries before I can conquer the voice but if I am diligent and remember that it is not me, IT IS NOT ME..,then and only then can I recognize I have won the battle, maybe not the war, but certainly the battle, at least for now. Next time I may let it get the best of me, I have to be OK with that, but the only way it wins is if I give up.  I don’t know about you but I have fought too hard and too long and I am committed to my moving forward.  I am committed to my success and the only person I measure my success to and with is myself.  If I continue to move forward towards my chosen destiny then I will always win.  I will always prevail.

So, what about you, are you finally going to realize the voice in your head that is keeping you from your success is not you? Are you finally going to start being kinder to yourself, gentler and more compassionate?  I would recommend a good healthy dose of self-honoring, self-celebration and self-love.  After all, you chose to be here, to experience all you could and that means success too.  Life is certainly a process and I intend to enjoy the ride!

As we awaken to spring there is another awakening that is happening all around us, a revolution of sorts. People are awakening to see the truth and as they awaken to themselves they awakened to the world around them. Of course we could focus on all that is wrong or that we perceive as wrong around us but that would only bring more of what is wrong about. I prefer to awaken anew to the new day and see it with fresh eyes, eyes of hope, joy and love.

I choose to wake up each day and look out at the masses of humanity and see them not for what has been imposed upon them, but to see the truth underneath, they are love and we are all part of the human family together.

We hear a lot about the new awakening that is happening as if it is just happening, that is only partially true. It requires each of us to consciously choose to awaken to our own truth and then see that truth reflected in the eyes of our fellow humans here on this beautiful planet we call home. it takes each of us to have our own awakening to create the global awakening, to turn the tides away from hate towards LOVE.

Will you choose to awaken and contribute to the Grand Awakening? Will you choose Love over Hate? Will you choose to sit with you in the quiet recesses of your heart and Love YOU?

What if it were as simple as finding out the under lying belief system that is blocking us from knowing our own path to happiness.  It is as if someone long ago said “You can only be this happy and no more”  It is like a set point on happiness.  What if you could change that “set point” and choose how and what level of happiness you were going to have.

I am big on choice and I know that there is a simple and easy way for you to be happy in this moment.  There is a technique that helps you to discover the decision you made long ago that is getting in the way, that belief that is holding you back from living your life full of joy and happiness.  A decision made in a fraction of a second, with limited knowledge, limited information and limited comprehension.  A decision made when you were small and did not have the tools to comprehend the ramifications of your decision and how long it would be effecting your life.

Change is inevitable and if we fight it life is hard.  When we move with it, in the flow of it life is easy.

Learning to flow with life is the challenge most of us humans have.  If you watch nature most things just flow, no resistance and when there is resistance there is catastrophe!  Earthquakes are an example of resistance in the natural world.  We too often have life give us examples of our own catastrophic results of our resistance to change; Heart attacks, diabetes, cancer, depression all of these are our bodies way of saying “things are not alright with me!”.

So how do we avoid the catastrophes or repair the damage after a catastrophe?  Well, it requires us to change what is not working.  I know I can here you saying, “I do not even know what to change” or “It is uncomfortable”. Have you ever heard the saying “Anything worth having takes work?” It’s true, but I am here to tell you “YOU” are worth the work, discomfort and challenge.

Let’s break it down as to why change is so difficult; did you know that your Mind would rather be comfortable than change the status quo?  That’s right, your mind is so powerful that it is getting in the way of you making the changes necessary for better health, more happiness and total wellness.  As a matter of fact your mind is the thing that is controlling your every action, your Sub-conscious mind.  It is kind of like having an entity that lives in your head at a control panel that decides everything that you are going to do, say or be.  I don’t know about you but that thought is scary!  In essence your sub-conscious, that part that lives beneath the surface that you are not consciously aware of has ultimate power over your every thought and action.  Here is the other problem; your mind has been making decisions about everything that has ever happened to you from the moment you were born and possibly before that too.  The limiting decisions are the ones that are getting in the way.  It is like having filters that block you from even seeing the good that is all around you.  Say you had an experience where you were on the school grounds and some bully came up and took your lunch away from you and you were really hungry!  Your mind could have made a decision that said “My food will be taken away from me so I need to eat it fast”. The results would be that you would have difficulty letting food go and you would eat really fast which would make you eat more of it.  Or, your mind could have made the decision that “I can’t get what I want or need”. Well, then you could have the experience of never feeling like you deserve to have anything money, a partner, the right job no matter how hard you try.  Now neither of these scenarios would be conscious, it would be an underlying program that your mind keeps running so that it can feel in control.  Here is the other thing about the mind, it would rather be right than happy.  Wow, that’s a kicker.

What I am getting at here is that I know change is hard.  But it is not because you are lazy or have no will power.  It is because you have been looking in the wrong place to fix the problem.  It is not about you beating you up because you can’t, it is about you honoring you in the process of the change and waking up to the truth of what is really going on!

Change is a Really Good Thing, it means we are flowing with life and not against it.  just remember to love yourself along the way.
